Ashleigh’s love for music began in primary school when her teacher introduced her to singing as part of the school vocal ensemble. Through high school, Ashleigh continued to pursue her passion, completing her HSC music with a band 6.

Ashleigh is now a mum and works as a high school Music and English teacher alongside her role at SLVA.

Ashleigh is passionate about teaching children, teenagers and adults – focusing on the voice as an instrument for musical exploration and creative expression. She has a passion for musical theatre and performance, and enjoys working with students looking to grow their skills as well as those embarking on their journey for the first time.

Ashleigh performs as active member in the Southern Lights adult choirs and has worked as part of the Southern Stars Vocal Team in 2026.
